Why do all our hair extension services require consultation?
Here at The House Of Braid, we offer our customers the best advise, treatments and implementations for their hair and in order for us to do this, we have to thoroughly access our customer’s hair and scalp condition to make sure that the service and/or treatment they require will be suitable for them and their condition.
What happens at the consultation?
Once you book our consultation appointment, we will come to you in order for us to discuss the type of services and/or treatments you would like.
During your consultation one of our hair experts will access your hair and scalp for any damages , strength and the determination of the health of your head and then discuss with you what service and/or treatment you would like to do as well as what services would be best suitable for yourself.
Straight after your discussion with our hair expert technicians, our technician will show you are range of our quality hair extensions and products that will be suitable for you and your budget.
The most common reasons for the consultation, is to check any physical and medical conditions that may prevent the application of hair extensions such as:
- Excessive thinning
- Eczema (on the head)
- Psoriasis ( on the head)
- Pregnancy or within 6 months of pregnancy
- Head lice or nits
- Breakage on the first 4 cm of the natural hair
- Excessive Greasy Hair (not suitable for Micro Rings)
- Cancer patients (it’s possible, however ensure you leave around 9 months since the last course of treatment )
What is the fee for the consultation?
Our consultation is standard fee for all our services, which only cost a one off fee of £50.
We also have a strict policy that we can not provide any treatment or service for anyone who has any lyce or nets in their hair, in order to stop this being passed on and also for our company to have the best hygiene as possible.
